Affiliate Rules
Heart Disease Code is a health product, so the rules are strict. They protect your readers, your ClickBank account and ours.
What you can say
- Matt Carter is a documentary filmmaker who spent three years interviewing over 40 cardiologists, doctors, nutrition experts and heart disease survivors.
- The program sets out nine natural steps to fight and prevent heart disease, and helps people understand their heart and talk to their doctor.
- It includes the ebook, the nine-part docuseries The Untold Story of Heart Disease (about ten hours), and the six bonuses listed on the overview page.
- The price is $19.95, normally $99.95, with a 60-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee.
- Experts featured in the series include the names on the site’s expert page. Say they are featured or interviewed.
- The points the sales letter makes, worded as the letter words them, such as "roughly half of people who have heart attacks have normal cholesterol levels".
What needs care
- Fred’s story. Tell it as the site tells it, and add that results vary whenever you mention what happened to him.
- Medication. Never tell anyone to stop or reduce a medicine. Say "talk to your doctor".
- Expert views. Say "the experts in the series explain" or "argue". Never put words in a named expert’s mouth or suggest they endorse your page.
- Your own experience. Share it only if it is true, and say it is your experience.
What you must never do
- Claim the program cures, reverses or treats heart disease or any other condition, or promise any result.
- Invent testimonials, reviews, star ratings, customer numbers, before-and-after results or media mentions.
- Say the program is endorsed by a doctor, a medical body, the FDA or ClickBank.
- Use fake countdowns, fake deadlines or "only a few left" scarcity.
- Send email to people who did not ask to hear from you, post spam in groups or comments, or use bought lists.
- Bid on "Heart Disease Code", "Untold Story of Heart Disease", "heartdiseasecode.com" or misspellings of them in paid search, or use them in display URLs or domain names.
- Pretend to be Heart Disease Code, Matt Carter or our support team, or copy the sales letter onto your own site.
- Send people straight to the ClickBank order form or build a page that looks like ours. Every link goes to the sales letter or the free gift page first.
- Use adult, hateful or misleading pages or ads, or hide where a link goes.
